Because our automated system begins preparing your Pet Collars and Feeding Supplies shortly after an order is placed, there is a very limited window to make modifications. This policy explains the procedures and timelines for requesting a cancellation or a change to your order.
1. The Critical Window
We provide a small grace period for changes or cancellations. Once an order enters our 1–2 day handling phase or has been handed over to our shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, or FedEx), we are physically unable to stop the shipment or modify its contents.

2. How to Request a Cancellation
If you have made a mistake or changed your mind, you must act immediately. Please follow these steps:
- Email us at support@lyricstshirt.com immediately.
- Use the subject line: URGENT: Cancel Order #[Your Order Number].
- Include your full name and the specific reason for the cancellation.
We monitor our emails during business hours (8:00 AM – 7:00 PM EST), and we will do our best to intercept the order before it reaches the warehouse floor.
3. Modifying Your Order
Modifications include changing the size of a pet collar, updating a shipping address, or swapping a feeding bowl style. Similar to cancellations, these can only be performed if the order has not yet been processed.
Note on Address Changes: For security and fraud prevention, we may not be able to change a shipping address to a completely different state or region. If the change is significant, we may require you to cancel the order and place a new one with the correct details.
4. If Your Order Has Already Shipped
If we are unable to cancel or change your order because it has already entered the transit phase (2–6 business days), you will need to wait for the package to arrive. Once you receive the item, you can follow our Return & Refund Policy to return the items for a refund. Please remember:
- Do not refuse the delivery, as this can lead to the package being lost in the carrier’s “Return to Sender” loop, which may delay your refund.
- Accept the package and contact us for an authorized return address.
5. Personalized Items
Please double-check all spelling and customization options for engraved or custom-made pet collars. Once the engraving process has started (usually within 12 hours of the order), these items cannot be changed or cancelled under any circumstances, as they are unique to your pet and cannot be resold.
6. Refunds for Cancelled Orders
If your cancellation request is successful and confirmed by our team:
- A full refund of the product price and the $6.99 shipping fee will be issued.
- Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7 business days.
- You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been initiated.
